Only 11 kilometers (6 miles) from Ventimiglia, an ancient city on the
Ligurian Sea, Isolabona, 101 meters above sea level, is nestled in the
Maritime Alps between two rivers which converge at the beginning of the old
village. Isolabona, established in the 1400s, thrives today as a get-away
for those weary of the traffic, noise and congestion of the larger cities.
Only 30 minutes from Monte Carlo and Monaco and 20 minutes from San Remo,
Isolabona is a perfect spot from which to explore the Italian and French
Rivera.
